Landhotel Lutz UG

A great starting point for scenic bike rides. There’s secure bike storage with e-bike charging, along with excellent rooms and parking. The restaurant is superb too, and you can take home good wines from the hotel’s own vineyard.

The location, food, wine, and staff are all very good, and there’s a lot to like about the guesthouse. We stayed two nights. The rooms were clean, though quite dated, with furnishings that seem not to have been updated in a long time. It’s not a comfortable fit for taller or larger guests. There’s barely room in the bathroom, and I’d say it suits people up to 1.80 m (5'11") and of average build. For the price, I think you get about 75% value.

My mother-in-law and a friend spent a few days here. The staff were very courteous and helpful, and the breakfast buffet was excellent. Their room was lovely, quiet, clean, and well cared for. The price was reasonable too. Highly recommended.

The rooms are new, spacious enough, and very clean, though I found the bed a bit too firm. As a light sleeper, I had a major issue with the busy road right outside the rooms. Breakfast was very good, but the food could have been replenished more attentively. The boss is an interesting character if you understand her sense of humor 😁.
