Breakfast had everything we wanted, and the staff were friendly. We’d love to come back. The hotel is in a stunning setting, and our modern, tastefully furnished room came with a view of the mountains.

The owner personally looked after guests, which we found very pleasant. Breakfast had what we needed to start the day, with a strong focus on fresh, regional products. There was no scrambled egg, though, and specialty coffees cost extra. Our Comfort Double Room was bright, spacious, and clean. The large balcony windows gave us a great view of the mountains, and on sunny days we could enjoy it from the balcony too. The hotel sits peacefully on a high plateau with fantastic mountain views. Hiking trails start right there, and by car it’s quick to reach the hiking areas, including Oberstdorf, 10 minutes away, and Hinterstein, 25 minutes away. It’s very dog-friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Oberdorfer Stuben and highly recommend it.

We felt at home as soon as we arrived. After parking our motorcycle in the underground garage, we grabbed a coffee and settled in. The beds and bathrooms were top-notch, and the location is simply inviting. We had a wonderful short break in 2025 in a fantastic area. Service, cleanliness, breakfast, and parking all exceeded our expectations, and the service was excellent. We’re already planning to return in 2026, even if it’s only for a short stay. It’ll definitely be worth it!
