Haus am See

We spent Christmas here with our dog. It’s a peaceful, lovely apartment hotel in a beautiful setting, with nearby trails that made walks just right for us. Dogs are very welcome, and the apartment was well equipped. For the price, the value is incredibly good. If you expect luxuries like an egg cooker, or can’t boil an egg in a pot, you’ll need to look at a different price range! The welcome gifts were regional and really good quality. Everything was clean, and we had all we needed for three people. Our dog felt comfortable, too. Many thanks to the hosts for the fantastic apartment and such a relaxing, peaceful Christmas holiday in the Harz Mountains.

We had such a lovely time together on our holiday at Haus 5, Wohnung 35, with our grandchildren. The apartment was spotless and beautifully furnished, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Stiege is a small place, but it has a few sights to see. The Stabkirche is well worth a visit, and if it’s open, there’s a very nice guided tour. There’s also a café in the castle that’s a must.

Sitting on the balcony by the lake for breakfast really puts you in the holiday mood. This was my second stay, and I’ve found the vacation apartments excellent. I’d be happy to come back again!

We’ve stayed in Stiege three times already, and we’ll definitely return. The apartments are modern, comfortable and have a real feel-good atmosphere. Booking was easy, too 😊
