The owner was very busy and did an outstanding job serving everyone. Breakfast had boiled and scrambled eggs, plenty of cheeses, sausage, jam, several kinds of buns and cereals, plus fresh fruit. There was tea, coffee, milk and juice too. My one small complaint is that the coffee maker couldn't quite keep up during the rush. Maybe a bigger one would be faster. Cheers, Holger Rosenlöcher. It's a cosy place with a long history, and much of the inventory is being modernized right now. The shower room is great, with modern wall tiles and a clever layout. The mattress was comfortable, and the bed linen looked mint. What more do you need for winter sports?

The location is wonderfully quiet, and the rooms were clean and fairly new. We spent three days hiking in Oberhof and found the breakfast good. The thing that bothered me most was all the security cameras, inside and out. It was hard to feel completely safe.

The location is great, with everything easy to reach, and the renovated rooms are really lovely. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Even though I made a very silly mistake, we found a solution I could live with. Thanks again for that! We'd be happy to come back.
