We were impressed enough that we’ll certainly come back. Our room had a beautiful mountain view, and the hotel is beside a quiet, pleasant park. The town center is close, as are the ski jump and viewpoints, all within walking distance. A lovely bonus was that the room card let us use all the area’s lifts for free. We rode almost all of them without a limit and saved a lot while enjoying the mountains. Breakfast was available for four hours and had a wide choice of hot dishes, fresh fruit, homemade pancake jams, and delicious rolls and bagels baked on site. The hotel staff, especially the friendly, smiling ladies, made us feel welcome.

We only had two nights at this charming little hotel, and wished we could stay longer. The team was incredibly friendly, and we felt completely at ease. It’s spotless, tastefully decorated, and serves a delicious breakfast. You can also help yourself to snacks, coffee, and drinks at the bar outside breakfast hours. The location makes it easy to reach the town center, train station, and ski bus stop in just a few minutes. If we come back to Oberstdorf, we’ll stay at the Luitpold again. :-)
