The staff and location were great. The room was quite small, and having the shower wall as the headboard didn't work well.

This was about the Café/Restaurant. We stopped in spontaneously on a Saturday evening and got a table straight away. The waiter was very friendly and attentive, and both dinner and dessert were so good. You have to try the creamy pumpkin soup with venison! The food was extraordinarily good, and if I return to Oberstdorf, I'll definitely visit again.

The Wi-Fi was terrible and delayed my meeting. When I ran out to get internet reception, I had already told two waiters on my way out that I hadn't paid for my tea. An extremely rude lady, possibly the boss, scolded me for it. After I came back and paid, I sat at the same table where I'd been seated before, but she told me to move to a different table that wasn't set. If you want to experience what I consider the worst of German service, feel free to come here.

This is a very typical Allgäu hotel right in the heart of Oberstdorf. The twin rooms are nice and spacious, while the single rooms are quite small. Breakfast has everything you need, and the staff are very kind and ready to help.

The internet was awful, the worst I've ever had.
