Parkhotel Obertshausen

The food was already being cleared away at 9:15 on the first morning, even though breakfast was meant to run until 9:30. On another day, by 8:15 there was no bacon, the scrambled eggs were cold, and the toaster had stopped working until they replaced it. There wasn't much breakfast left, either, and the dining room hand sanitizer stayed empty for two days. We were in town for a conference and everything else was booked, so we ended up staying three nights, March 18, 19, and 20, 2025. I reported the problems on our first morning, but nothing was fixed. I brought them up again at checkout. Worst stay ever, and an expensive hotel that deserves no stars. I suspect they take down bad reviews. If nothing changes, I think they'll be out of business soon. There were broken or poorly maintained things all over. Sewage fumes came up the stairs when you entered, and there was no lift. The hallway light, the main room light, and one bedside light were out. In the bathroom, the shower door wouldn't close properly, so water got onto the carpet. The vertical shower adjuster wouldn't move, and the top shower head sprayed sideways out of the shower. After every flush, the toilet kept running unless you waited and jiggled the handle.
