Weinhotel Klostermühle

Everything felt thought through, down to the smallest detail. The room was modern and clean, breakfast was awesome, and the staff were great. Excellent place, highly recommend.

We were disappointed by the garden and the lawn behind the hotel. They’re poorly kept, with weeds everywhere, and the old shabby bench didn’t make us want to sit and relax. Some gardening and a few more flowers would help. Inside, though, we really enjoyed our stay. Our room was large, clean, and quiet, dinner was very good, and breakfast was fantastic. The hotel is close to the cycling path, with parking and a garage for bikes.

The terrace was still warm enough to sit on, with the stream and birds making such peaceful sounds. And don’t miss the herb garden. I visited this lovely place while seeing friends in Ockfen. We had a light meal and delicious wines, and the food and drinks were fantastic. I took some wine home to share with friends, though I might keep it! The staff are lovely, and I hope to stay next time, maybe for the Christmas markets.

We’ve stayed here several times, but the new room design we got this time was terrible. We wouldn’t want to stay in a room like that again. The bathroom has a glass rolling door that doesn’t seal, just a meter from someone’s pillow. If anyone uses the toilet at night, light floods the room through the glass door. That makes no sense. The plastic mattress protector was a terrible addition too. It made the bed feel unbreathable and very uncomfortable.
