Gutsquartier Odelzhausen

We camped in our campervan behind the hotel through Landvergnügen. The motorway is audible, but the site itself was quite alright. We really enjoyed the food at Braustüble, and the beer was easy to drink. The self-service machine was a nice touch too: it has drinks in jars as well as fresh, cold beer. Just remember your debit card for the age check.

We had a fantastic New Year's stay in the manor house and would happily return. There were nine of us, and it worked really well for a bigger group. The tower room with its bathtub is a fun touch if you've ever wanted to feel like a prince or princess. The tower bay window also has a dining room where everyone can gather. Bedrooms are on the top two floors. The setting is peaceful, with great access to the A8, and the area has lovely nature, a brewery well worth visiting even if you've seen others, and lots of hospitality and helpfulness. The kitchen is older but has everything you need, and the amenities are up to date. Wi-Fi and smart TVs in the rooms were a welcome surprise.

There are lots of hiking routes around this beautiful area. In winter, a big Christmas market comes too, with mulled wine, children's cakes, and other treats.

Great spot right by the motorway, with very good service and good food. Their own beer is excellent. A shame they don't make their own wheat beer.
