Kühn's Mühle

The layout may work for wheelchair users in one respect: two rooms open straight onto a terrace, with the parking area and driveway just outside. I didn’t inspect the entrance closely enough to judge accessibility more precisely. The rest of the pension, including reception, the breakfast room, and restaurant, is up a flight of steps to a charming patio, and I didn’t see a lift, so those areas don’t seem wheelchair accessible. This is a small pension set up as a side business by a winery, tucked into a quiet valley among vineyards north of town, away from the Rhine. There can be some noise from the water pump in the front yard. We arrived at the early afternoon check-in time, but nobody was there at first. One owner came back later with a child and said she’d been delayed by “grandma duty.” We spoke in German, so I can’t say how ready the staff are to speak English, though most room signs had English translations.

Everything was good, and it’s a beautiful place ❤️
