I ended up at this hotel because the Holiday inn express in Offenburg was full that week, and I'm glad it was. This place is right in the heart of the city, about a two-minute walk from the center, while the other hotel is a 15-minute walk away. My room was spacious and cozy, simple in its decor and amenities but comfortable, and it had AC. Everyone was kind and attentive with my questions, especially Malika, who was lovely and let me check in early. There's no minibar, but I was in room 107 and found a ledge just outside the window. In winter I put my drink there to get it cold, which worked better than a minibar. I had a great visit to Offenburg, and the hotel was a big part of it.

I stayed one night at the Ibis, and Alex at reception is why I'm giving it five stars. He was welcoming, friendly, and very professional. I asked him for help several times, and he was always kind and smiling. Thanks for everything, Alex!

A decent place for a business trip, with a convenient location. The rooms are fine but pretty basic. Breakfast was underwhelming, though the sauna was a welcome extra.

The room was clean and the staff were really friendly and helpful. It's good value, too, with the train station nearby. The only downside was that the air-conditioning unit was a bit loud.
