We had a blast, and felt right at home on the house’s own warft, alongside a flock of sheep. It’s an idyllic, wonderfully tasteful place, one of the loveliest houses around. We never wanted to leave.

Steffi and her husband are wonderful hosts who made us feel right at home. The apartments are clean and work well for a family or a small group of friends. The house sits in a quiet country setting, with a huge garden where it’s easy to unwind after city life, and local highlights like Friedrichstadt, Husum or Sankt Peters Ording are less than 30 minutes away. Highly recommended for a week or a weekend break.

The hostess was very welcoming, and we had everything we needed in the downstairs apartment. It was nicely decorated and very clean. We stayed three nights and would recommend the place to anyone wanting a relaxed holiday in a beautiful area.

Steffi and Peter have great taste. They turned the historic warft into an up-to-date luxury guest house while keeping it wonderful. It’s an excellent countryside spot for a rest, and there’s plenty nearby to discover. If you’re lucky, you might get to try the nation’s best cakes. Enjoy!
