A very nice option for those who like to be on the move! Hotel "Jugendgästehaus Johannesburg" is located in Papenburg. This hotel is located in the very center of the city. In the morning, have a cup of coffee while looking at the city from the window. You can take a walk and explore the neighbourhood area of the hotel — Eversten Holz, Marschweg Stadium and Schlossgarten.

I was glad to finally get out of that dump, and I’d have much rather been at school. The food was a complete mess, and the drinks tasted like sewage. I felt sick just thinking about it. There were thick brown skid marks on the upholstery, and the employees were a disaster, among the most miserable people I’ve seen. Please get some help. I’m never going back.

There’s plenty to see and do in this beautiful city, and this is a lovely youth hostel with good facilities. It’s on a main road, yet still quiet. I’d say it suits school groups better than private trips.

Breakfast at the accommodation was really good, and we picked up food and drinks nearby. Our class was made up of students aged 22 and over, and the place worked fine for us. We were only there for one night. I personally found the mattress very hard to sleep on, though I know that comes down to personal preference.
