We paid just over €120 for two people, our dog and breakfast for both of us. The one-night rate was about €90 including VAT, and breakfast was around €12 per person at the time of this review. Booking online was easy, with a confirmation email, then a follow-up a day or two before arrival to check our ETA and breakfast time. Breakfast included cold cuts, cheese, fruit, bread, butter, jams, coffee and orange juice. They also made a boiled egg to order and brought yogurt, muesli and a fruit cup. Rooms are roomy by European standards, though small by North American ones. The amenities were basic but enough: a coffee maker, TV, soap and body wash, plus a snack area with wine, beer, water and snacks. The hot water and strong shower pressure were great. Towels were thin and rough. The bathroom had heated floors, but the main room felt cold. Our downstairs back room, “studio 2,” had small, clean windows that opened and tilted. Pets are allowed for a reasonable small fee, including in the breakfast area. There’s a large grassy space for them, though it isn’t fenced and you’ll need to bring waste bags. The hotel is quaint, cozy and clean. Free parking is behind the building, but the spaces are narrow. My midsize SUV couldn’t make the turn to pull straight in, though the parking felt typical for Europe.

Breakfast felt wonderfully romantic. The place itself was cozy and tidy, and when we mentioned a problem with our racing bike, the owner connected us with a local retired bike mechanic.

The salmon and mushroom dishes were delicious, and I liked the interior design. Prices are in the medium-to-high range.

A perfect stay with kind hosts. The rooms were cozy, the service was excellent, and they handled every extra request with a smile.
