The room was top German quality, and the blonde lady at reception was VERY friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a different story: the waiter needs hospitality training. I’ve never had such unfriendly communication from staff, and he was rude to some guests too.

The price feels fair for the quality, and the hotel has a personal touch. Check-in and checkout were good, as were the restaurant and breakfast. There are comfortable rooms in a range of sizes.

We love this quiet, cozy hotel and restaurant and always look forward to the meal and beer when we travel through Munich. Seeing the hop fields just before the summer harvest is a treat. The place has kept its great quality over the years.

The restaurant downstairs is excellent, and both the overnight stay and meals are remarkably well priced. My room was completely renovated and super clean. There was some tension among the staff on the night I stayed, which was a little uncomfortable, though they remained courteous to guests. The hotel is fairly close to the provincial road, so there’s some noise, especially in the rain.

It’s a clean, fairly new hotel with spacious rooms, and parking is roomy and free. The restaurant in the hall serves good traditional local food. The reason I’m not giving it five stars is that you can’t use the lobby once the restaurant closes, so after 23h you have nowhere to be except your room.
