Landhaus am Breitenberg

The local bakery closes on public holidays, so you'll need to bring bread or drive to Nesselwang. There isn't an oven at the property for baking rolls, and the toaster was broken too. Luckily, we found something else to do. The rooms are clean and nice, and the location works well both in summer and for a winter holiday. The surrounding area is great for walking and exploring, including the Falkenstein castle ruins, which you can reach on foot.

The apartment was clean and had a good view, but the furniture was dated and the armchair was broken. Nobody was there when we arrived, so everything had to be sorted out by phone. We paid the tourist tax but weren't given guest cards. When we asked about getting that tax refunded, no one responded. A pity.

A lovely spot. No frills, and everything just works 😎

We spent a relaxing week here, renting two apartments. We were fully satisfied and would happily come back.
