Hostel Pinneberg

Good.

Never again. I stayed over Christmas through January 12th, 2026, and everything was filthy or junk. The room and service were awful, and the kitchen was unusable. There was a pot of pasta with some kind of sauce that was already starting to mold, and the oven was filthy. When I asked about a discount because I’d stayed longer, the man told me to do my wife’s laundry too, and the way he said it was awful. On my departure day, he rudely escorted me out of the room. I’d never book this place again. Like I said, filthy, junk, unfriendly.

From September 1st to September 3rd, 2025, I stayed at Hostel Pinneberg for an important meeting. It’s an affordable option in a safe area, with easy access to the meeting venue. The room was basic, but the bed and shared spaces were clean, the shower worked well, and the Wi-Fi was enough for what I needed. For the price, the amenities were fine, as I wasn’t expecting anything luxurious. If you need simple accommodation and want to save money, it’s a good choice. Check whether towels are included, and bring your own if needed.

A hostel with a homely feel, friendly staff who speak Russian, and everything you need. Excellent.
