Apartment Altstadt 2

The apartment is a great starting point for visiting Saxon Switzerland, the Elbe Sandstone Mountains, Dresden, and other places. It's only a few meters from the historic old town and the Elbe River, beside St. Mary's Church and the historic market square. Though it's right on the edge of the old town, the small courtyard is quiet, and the apartment has its own entrance. It works best for two people. You can fit four, but the living room sofa then becomes a bed, so there's no comfortable place to sit. Inside, everything was spotless and tidy. A parking spot is available for a reasonable extra fee in the garage at Steinplatz, just a few meters away. I'd recommend taking it, since parking in Pirna is difficult. The kitchen could use more dishes and cutlery. There are only four of each, so you pretty much have to wash them after every use. The tiny, cheaply made fridge doesn't cool properly, even at its highest setting. The TV only offers free content from Waipu TV, and it would be better to have at least the standard private channels and public broadcasters. Wi-Fi is free.
