The Schöne Höhe Gallery has a varied, high-quality program that goes well beyond standard exhibitions. It gives room to both established artists and emerging talents, and the art shows have depth and a clear curatorial direction. Theater performances and concerts add to the gallery’s cultural role in the region. It’s a thoughtful, varied program.

I came across the gallery by chance while visiting Pirna and was pleasantly surprised. The concrete art on display was diverse and curated really well. Art fans from Dresden and nearby should give it a visit. I’d be glad to come back.

The setting is picturesque, and it would be easy to pair a visit with a walk nearby. Inside, the calm atmosphere makes it easy to take your time with the art. I was especially impressed by how friendly and knowledgeable the staff were, and how ready they were to answer questions and share interesting details. The Schöne Höhe art gallery has a carefully put together mix of contemporary and classical work. A real gem for art lovers, and anyone after a special experience!
