Vila Belaggio

The reception guy was friendly and straightforward, and made us feel welcome. Our rooms and bathrooms were spacious and modern, and it was nice having one mattress without an annoying gap in the middle. The price was fair for the area, the Wi-Fi was good, and the gated parking was handy. The area was quiet despite being beside the train station. Nearby, there’s an ice-cream shop that also sells pizza until 22h, and a yormas inside the station open until 20h. You can get latte macchiato at breakfast, though the choice of food was limited. Breakfast was uncomfortable, though. The lady was very unfriendly, and when my husband asked for another coffee, she frowned and said, “only a small one then,” as if we weren’t allowed two. She was also unfriendly at checkout and didn’t give us a receipt for the water we paid for. Checkout was until 10h30, but at 10h the cleaning woman was already opening our bedroom door. Late checkout wasn’t possible. The mattress was too soft and gave both of us back pain, the fridge in the bedroom was loud, and there’s no elevator, just stairs.

The hotel is right in front of the train station, and the staff are nice and professional. The owner is a really helpful gentleman. There’s free Wi-Fi and a nice breakfast. I definitely recommend it.

A cozy, nice place to stay near the city center in Plattling. Breakfast is good too.

Felt just like home.
