Design Apartments - "Potsdam City" 19

If we return to Potsdam, we definitely won’t stay in this apartment again. The flat is in the attic and badly insulated, even with the new windows. We were there with our two small children, aged one and three, and it stayed above 30 degrees inside. We couldn’t sleep. When I called, I was told that’s how it is in an attic. The air was so bad that one night I gave up, even though it was 31 degrees and still light outside. We had to leave the windows open because of the heat, but there’s a kebab shop directly below that stays open until 5:00 am. We could hear political discussions until early morning. I asked if anything could be changed and was told they’d take care of it, but nothing happened. Not suitable for families, or for anyone sensitive to noise or light.

We booked apartment 21. The location is really very good, but parking is a hassle, and there’s plenty else to complain about. The TV doesn’t work, there’s no plug for the kitchen sink, and even some toilet paper would have been welcome. Everything is dusty and could use a proper clean. The hallway is filthy and full of trash. There are already several bad reviews and apparently little gets done, so it feels pointless to complain. There’ll always be new victims.
