10/10
The rooms and furniture were clean and tidy, with the furniture all new and well put together. The food was so tasty, and the staff were welcoming and friendly, 10/10. Amazing place, definitely worth a visit.

6/10
The service was friendly, though two of the three staff members said they were new when we asked questions. The room gets a little loud when it’s full, since it’s one large space without meaningful sound barriers. The food was disappointing for the price. The homemade pasta was cooked several minutes too long, and the sepia was overcooked, rubbery and chewy, and had gone cold because it was prepared too early. The creme brulee was also made ahead, so the sugar crust had softened from the liquid creme instead of staying crunchy. Its “exotic fruits” were two raspberries and one physalis on top, a nice decoration but not what I’d expect from that menu description. The white wine by the glass was too warm, though they offered ice cubes to cool it.

8/10
The team were nice and made an effort in many ways, though very few spoke English. The rooms are very big and feel super new. It’s a nice countryside location, with easy train access to Cologne.

I feel very relaxed here. The service is quick and very friendly, and the place feels posh but laid back.

A modern place with good food and a large beer garden.
