Kids have plenty to do here, including visiting all the animals and helping care for them. The owners clearly look after the animals with a lot of love, and they’re happy to answer questions and take their time with you. It’s a quiet, secluded spot. Our beds were clean, but we had to clean the kitchen and bathroom ourselves first. The kitchen cupboards felt sticky, and there was a lot of mold in the shower.

Our daughter got to name a calf and enjoy a long horse ride, which was a special part of our first farm holiday. The family was very friendly, and the animals were cared for with so much affection. Our accommodation was clean and comfortable, and there are lots of nice places to visit nearby. We’d love to come back.

A lovely rural farm with clean, beautiful apartments and really friendly hosts. It works well for an active farm holiday at any age. We always enjoy coming back!

We were welcomed so warmly when we arrived in May, and the hosts were very kind. But a mix-up with another family’s booking meant we got the wrong apartment. We spent nearly two weeks without a sofa, while the family who stayed just for a weekend had one. The apartment also hadn’t been cleaned properly: there was hair and dirt across the floor, plus spiders and lots of cobwebs behind the bed. We weren’t offered fresh towels at any point during our stay. We found all of this really disappointing, so I can only give two stars.
