Sunset Hotel

I knew it was a budget hotel, and that was fine, but standing wet after a shower with no towel was too much. My partner had to get towels from the car. Neither pillow had a pillowcase, breakfast wasn’t available, and there was no one at reception.

The curry at the restaurant was good. Pretty much everything else was a disappointment. I needed one night near the airport, but the first two rooms I was shown hadn’t been cleaned. They offered dinner as compensation, so I ate at the hotel restaurant despite the unnecessarily high prices. I ordered a drink and a meal, then thanked the owner for the invitation when I left. He asked how I was paying and said, three hours after making the offer, that it didn’t include food. That could have been a chance to handle things generously and improve the experience, especially with what happened the next morning. The staff seemed indifferent. The shower flooded after two minutes, the hair dryer didn’t work, and there was no toilet brush. Reception was unmanned at checkout, which would be a problem if you accidentally locked yourself out of your room that morning. The hotel was built in 2020, but it seemed to have taken only three years to reach this state of cleanliness and maintenance. I wouldn’t stay here. You’ll most likely regret it.

The warm, comfortable atmosphere and well-kept surroundings made this one of the best hotel stays I’ve had. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome. Kudos to Mr. Javed Malik and his team for such a high standard of hospitality. I’d highly recommend Hotel Sunset for a memorable, stress-free stay.

The chicken was amazing, and the staff were welcoming and nice. The rooms looked great, but there’s no air conditioning, so it was incredibly hot at night. They also felt quite empty and lifeless.
