The interior was striking, but the food was disappointing. We only ate at the restaurant, and I wouldn’t recommend it. The paprika dish was completely bland, with a very sour sauce, spices that didn’t work, and dry couscous. Sadly, the setting was much better than the meal.

The staff were welcoming and courteous, and the local food was pretty good. I couldn’t find any dishes inspired by the theme, though, wink. The place is stylish, with interiors in a Jules Verne's 20000 Leagues under the sea and Steampunk sort of spirit. They also seem to have decent sound and disco lights.

I saw the billboard for the submarine-themed experience and decided to try the restaurant. There was a good choice of fish and seafood, mostly prepared as local dishes. It was a great meal, and eating it brought back memories of reading Jules Verne as a kid.

We went in for tea around three in the afternoon on 9/5/13 and were seated near the bar. A few minutes later they asked us to move, without explaining why. Then we waited at least five minutes for a waitress, who seemed disappointed that we’d only ordered tea. After 45 minutes she put a sign saying “reserviert” on our table, again without saying a word. We left as soon as we could. Four black teas cost 16 euro. Never Nautilus again. Jan van Harten

It’s a lovely place with really nice meals. Nothing exclusive, just a great spot in the spirit of Jules Verne's Nautilus, especially for kids aged 8 and up.
