The view from the roof terrace kept us there late into the night, and we felt right at home. The house has clearly had a lot of time and care put into its renovation, and the furnishings are lovely. All three bedrooms are well equipped, with genuinely comfortable beds, and there’s a modern bathroom plus an upstairs guest toilet. The eat-in kitchen is practical and unusually well stocked: matching dishes, glasses, cups, cutlery, and plenty of everything. We’ve often found holiday rentals full of unwanted odds and ends, but that wasn’t the case here. Parking is the one small drawback. You can unload outside the house, then need to drive down a side street to find a space. We found one quickly, and it was free, so it didn’t bother us much. We’re very grateful to the owners and would definitely come back. I may be sending too many new customers Mr. H’s way by writing all this, but I’m genuinely pleased for him. I highly recommend the house and its owners.

The garden and roof terrace were superb, and the location was excellent. We had a fantastic stay in this wonderful house, which is furnished with so much care. The landlord was very nice too.

You'd be hard pressed to find anything this good at the price. The castle and tower views are priceless. Absolutely fantastic! 👌
