We arrived pretty late and got such a warm welcome. The breakfast is simple, but the terrace ambiance was great and the service so friendly. You really feel welcome at this kind of magical hotel. What a vibe, and what a town! 🏰

It’s a lovely family-run hotel just a few minutes from the city center, with friendly, helpful staff and a great historical building. Ask about a building tour, some rooms still have old wall paintings. From the accessible roof you get a great city view, and the view from the tower is even better if you ask for access. Absolutely amazing. There’s free parking if you drive in, and breakfast is nice. One drawback: there’s no elevator, so you have to haul your luggage up a couple of floors yourself. These are schloss-size floors ))) All in all, I really recommend it.

It’s a decent choice for a small local town, and the location is good. Most staff speak German only. I’d personally like more services at the hotel, like a full breakfast and air conditioning.

I spent Christmas here, and it was worth paying for the stay. A big bonus was the hotel staff’s super exclusive tour inside the castle. Visitors can’t do this, it’s only for hotel guests, and there’s no extra charge.

The old castle location is amazing, and the rooms are beautiful. Breakfast was great, and the staff were very friendly.
