The room suited us well, and we were very happy with it. The hotel is peaceful, beside a park, and the breakfast was great. The one letdown was the Wi-Fi, which barely worked in the room. Otherwise, this would've been five stars. Regards, Horst Zimmer

We were hoping to stay a few extra days and agreed on a price with the owner, but she didn't stick to it. At payment, we were also suddenly charged another €5 for breakfast because weather had forced us to stop working. Breakfast was very poor: rolls baked from scratch, some apparently from the day before, eggs so soft you could play tennis with them, and we had to ask for orange juice. The rooms are adequate, but having to get up and press a button on the TV to turn it off feels like my grandmother's house in the mid-90s. We can't recommend this hotel and won't stay here again! What a shame that day visitors can no longer have lunch at this beautifully situated, well-kept hotel. I went there with a friend a while ago, but the place seemed deserted, and we had trouble finding anyone who could give us information. We ended up having a very good lunch at the "Schweizerhaus" in Vitzenburg.

Even out of season, they were open as usual when we visited as a group of four, and they even cooked dinner especially for us. A wonderful experience, highly recommended. The hotel is beautiful, and the surrounding area is stunning, with lots of forest.

The owner was friendly, and breakfast was very good. The house is beautiful and wonderfully quiet, with large, clean, nicely furnished rooms and good mattresses. Definitely recommended.
