I've already stayed here four times and would happily keep coming back. The owners are warm and always willing to help, and the apartment is spotless and furnished beautifully. It’s in a great spot for getting around Rügen, and a relaxing holiday is easy to have here.

We spent four nights in the Otto holiday apartment for a break from the city, and felt at home almost as soon as we arrived. The Otto family clearly puts care into the place, which is lovingly furnished right beneath the thatched roof. The kitchen is especially good, very modern and simple to use. There’s plenty of cutlery, crockery, cleaning gear and even some toiletries, more than we expected in a holiday apartment. Rappin is tiny, but there’s a little restaurant and a campsite nearby. Guests have a parking spot behind the house. Mr. Otto was friendly and helpful, whether we wanted a quick chat or needed help with the stubborn grill. The beds are on a raised platform under the roof, which is nice, though it does hold the heat. There’s a small air conditioner and a standing fan available. Some people may not like having to go through the bedroom to reach the bathroom, but it didn’t bother us. We were very happy with the stay. Thanks for your hospitality, Otto family. We’d gladly return to Rügen. Best wishes from Hamburg.
