Five months have passed and I still haven’t got my money back. The landlord kept saying he’d handled it and that the refund would come, but he never showed up for the key handover either. I wouldn’t recommend this apartment. I don’t trust the landlord.

The location earned a star, and the owner did offer us a discount, which earned another. Beyond that, we were really unhappy. The furniture is ancient, and the bed was awful: no proper slatted base and a 10 cm gap between the mattresses. There was a moldy smell in the bathroom and entrance. Above the shower, black mold seemed to have been wiped off more than once. The owner said it was hair dye when we raised it. We had to keep the windows wide open to sleep. I can’t see why this rental gets so many good reviews.

The sofa bed was a real backbreaker, even with its slatted frame. The bathroom water is extremely hard.

A nice host and good value for the money.
