We hired e-bikes from Rad Pabst, a three-minute drive away, but cycling in Moritzburg and Radebeul felt unsafe. Most of the time we had to ride on roads with cars doing close to 70 km/h or on gravel tracks. Back at the hotel, the rooms were clean and staff friendly. We booked directly instead of through the booking portal and paid €78 per night with breakfast included. The location is quiet, though breakfast is in a separate building. The rolls weren't fresh from a bakery, they're the kind you heat in the oven, and you can taste the difference. There's no kettle in the room, so for coffee or tea after breakfast you have to use a machine and pay. No shampoo or shower gel is provided, and there's no air conditioning. The carpeted rooms and hallways, along with the wood paneling, make it look a bit old-fashioned.

It's a nice place, but the village is tiny and feels rather isolated, with little to do beyond walking around the neighborhood. There's a Biergarten within 2-3 miles, and an interesting pond with lots of water lilies and odd 'frogs' that sound like aliens. If you sleep lightly and like to keep the windows open, those sounds might drive you crazy.

A peaceful spot near Dresden, with a welcoming host and a sparkling clean room. Breakfast was very good.

A picturesque place in a good location, with a nice room. The owners were friendly, and breakfast was great, with extra service too.
