The bathroom really stood out, especially the large walk-in shower and the bedroom with its own en-suite bathroom. We also loved how much room there was to relax in the living and dining area, even on a rainy day, with a TV and soundbar there too. The bedrooms have back-friendly beds and two pillow sizes, or you can stack both for a pillow tower ;). The apartment is modern, roomy, and furnished with so much care, with everything a holiday stay could need. We didn't get around to trying the Thermomix, but we'll have to do that next time. It's the nicest holiday apartment we've stayed in, and we'd choose it again anytime.

That basilica view is magnificent, and the apartment is modern inside. It's close to the city center but still in a quiet spot. The kitchen even comes with a Thermomix, handy for making delicious meals. A fantastic place to stay, and one I can wholeheartedly recommend.

The quiet spot is still fairly central in Rheine, and we were very satisfied with our stay. The apartment is clearly set up with tradespeople in mind, and it's very well maintained and equipped, in my opinion. The bathrooms are great and the eat-in kitchens are nice. I did miss having a kettle, though. I suppose you could use the, WARNING... Thermomix! for that...

We spent nearly three months here after our long-term trip was cut short, and the apartment made that time really comfortable. The owners are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and everything with them was uncomplicated. The place is in a safe residential area, a few minutes by foot or bike from the city center, with a large modern K&K supermarket in easy walking distance. The nearby city park is great for jogging, and Rheine has plenty of restaurants, bike paths, and local attractions. It felt like a great base for a holiday in Germany. There's lots of light from the many windows, and exterior blinds make it possible to darken the rooms completely at night. Bikes can be kept securely in the small private courtyard behind the house, out of sight from the street. There are two roomy parking spaces out front, even suitable for larger vehicles like a VW bus, van, or delivery van. The apartment itself is exceptionally cozy, clean, and thoughtfully put together. The owners clearly want guests to feel at home. Everything is new or in excellent condition, and it was so well equipped that we didn't want for anything. There is a washing machine, high-quality kitchen, Thermomix, coffee maker, ironing board, vacuum cleaner, bed linens and towels, TVs in the living room and bedroom, great Wi-Fi, a soundbar, and a big bathroom with a spacious walk-in shower, hairdryer, and heated towel rail. We had a wonderful time both in the apartment and in Rheine.

We stayed here in September 2022 so I could visit my parents with my English wife, as their age meant they could no longer host guests. It was about a 15-minute walk from their house. Without the traffic lights it would've been quicker, since the apartment is on the inner-city ring road. The location is both central and quiet, with the city center and green city park just a few minutes away on foot, plus a large supermarket within easy walking distance. Even though you're so near the center, you can still see stars in the evening. There is one thing to bear in mind in summer if you sleep with the windows open: St. Anthonius parish is active on weekdays, and the bells can ring as early as seven, which may wake you. With cooler weather and closed windows, it shouldn't be a problem. The view of the church tower, built around 1905, makes up for it. At 102.5 meters, it's the tallest church tower in the Münsterland region. The nearby Basilica was built later, even though the apartment building itself is older. Tanja was very friendly and gave us a clear orientation, including a quick explanation of the apartment's unusual name, which comes from its age. The apartment was originally planned as a demonstration unit, showing what could be done with an old building, and the renovation is excellent. The colorful floors go well with the modern furnishings. The windows are double-glazed, and the bathroom is modern, with a walk-in shower instead of a cramped cubicle. There's even a Thermomix in the kitchen, though we didn't use it because we weren't familiar with it. Apparently it can cook a whole dish automatically. The living room and kitchen are combined, and there's a TV there plus one in at least one of the two bedrooms. Wi-Fi is stable and easy to connect to, with clear instructions for laptops and other devices. Laundry can be done with the washing machine, and there's a drying rack in the small private garden, which you reach through a lockable gate. The garden also has furniture and a barbecue, a real plus in summer. We found the owners friendly, the apartment very modern, and the mix of quiet and central access just right. Five out of five from us!
