Chiemseevilla

There are two rooms in this private guesthouse, with lovely views and a really relaxing feel. The woman hosting us was very friendly, and breakfast was nice. You can also spend the evening in the sitting rooms downstairs. Recommended.

The building is old, with the particular charm of an old farmhouse, and the interior is decorated with care and artistic painted details. It's a very family-run guesthouse. The room suits the house's style. There isn't a TV in the room, but you can look out at Lake Chiemsee. Breakfast was delicious, and it's a great place to stay near the lake.

Mrs. Klinger welcomed us warmly and was kind, helpful, and wonderfully hospitable. We had a plentiful breakfast made with care, and the price felt excellent for what we got. There are no TVs in the rooms, but guests can use a charming TV and lounge area with an open fireplace and a DVD collection. Wi-Fi is free. The Chiemsee Villa is full of lovely details and thoughtfully furnished. Our room looked straight out onto the lake, about a 10-minute walk away. The Chiemsee Cycle Path goes right past the house, and the hostess can provide cycling maps and tips for excursions. It felt magical, and we'll definitely come back.
