The room had almost nothing in it: no adult blankets, towels, toothpaste, fridge, or water, just an old, very uncomfortable bed. For what we paid, the hotel felt far too expensive, and the staff were not welcoming. At 9:30 AM, the calls started. A man then came to our door and banged on it, telling us checkout was at 10 AM. When I asked why it wasn't 12 PM like at other hotels, he just said, “That's how it is.” I said I'd get ready, but ten minutes later he came back in without permission while we were changing. He kicked our suitcase and tried to assault me after I said he had no right to enter our room. I've never experienced anything like it.

The breakfast was fantastic, there was so much food, and we really enjoyed the honor bar. The staff were friendly, and the cat was lovely. It's a little off the beaten path, but we had a great stay. Thanks for having us.

My father and stepmother were very happy with their room, especially the view over the fields, and they thought breakfast had plenty of choice and was very good. The hotel is in a pleasant, quiet spot for visiting Rödermark. It's quite far from Frankfurt if you don't have a car. The staff were friendly and helpful. They showed me a room so I could see what my parents would be staying in, and spoke at least some English, which helped since my dad and stepmother don't speak German.

Mr Heyne was so kind when we left, helping with our luggage and even giving us sandwiches for the onward trip. Everyone on staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and the price was good. We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Magnolia and would happily come back.

Breakfast was the highlight for me: really delicious, with a very good range and quality of food. The owner takes care of the guests, and the hotel and the neatly kept greenery around it are clean and tidy. It isn't a five-star hotel, but for the price I thought it was very good. The one small thing to improve is the weak room lighting. At night it feels dim.
