The lack of places to eat nearby became a problem on our third evening, when none were within walking distance. The restaurant here closes from 5 PM because of staff shortages. There’s another place close by, but it shut for vacation after our first night. We walked about 15 minutes to a restaurant on the second evening. Our room was comfortable, the restaurant was enjoyable when open, and the staff were kind and helpful.

There’s a playground right outside and an indoor play corner for kids. The menu is seasonal and manageable in size, with something for everyone, including vegetarian options, soups, fish, and game. The food was amazing, the service kind, and the atmosphere really good. Marvelous restaurant, I’d give it six stars if I could.

We only stayed one night, which was a shame. The former convent was very nice, and the staff were friendly. Dinner was super good, and the breakfast buffet generous. Our room was big and very clean, with a super nice bed and pillow, and the bathroom was fresh. Everything was excellent.

We arrived on January 1, 2025, when reception was closed, so we checked ourselves in. Everything was to our satisfaction.

We visited the front of the hotel to watch the fish. There were all sorts of colors and sizes, swimming around and making sounds. It’s exciting for tourists, and better seen than described.
