Hotel Wendelstein

From the sidewalk, the front didn’t look very inviting, and we wondered if we’d made a mistake. Once inside, though, it turned into a great experience and good value. The location is ideal, four easy, flat blocks from the Hbf and even closer to the main pedestrian and shopping areas. The staff are great, and the breakfast buffet is pretty good. The rooms are thoughtfully equipped, with bare wood floors, plenty of outlets, and soundproofing from both the street and hallway. Our bathroom and shower weren’t large, but they were adequate. If two people have luggage, I’d choose the larger “comfort” room. We’d definitely stay again.

My partner and I had a pleasant stay at Hotel Wendelstein. The staff were consistently accommodating and friendly, and their high level of service made the visit memorable. Our room was spacious, comfortable, clean, and had all the amenities. There was a broad range of good breakfast options. We’d happily recommend the hotel and stay again.

The service was good every day, and breakfast was good too. The location is excellent, about a five-minute walk from both the center and the railway station. My single room was quite small, but had everything I needed. Maybe I’d add a kettle.
