A really nice place in a great location, and it was clean too. The owner was very kind. I recommend it, and I'm coming back next year.

The beach was beautiful and well looked after, while Markgrafenheide itself is very quiet. The guesthouse was lovely, with clean rooms and tasteful decor. It seems just right if you're feeling stressed and need somewhere peaceful.

We booked two nights here on the spur of the moment. We just needed a bed and a shower, so the simple Bikotel at the Forstfuhrmannshof suited us: bunk beds, shared toilet and shower. It was very affordable, and the room was exactly what we expected and enough for us.

The owner was very friendly while we were there, and I had a lovely week with my family. But his wife was extremely unfriendly on the day we left. There were also a few problems: the documents still say parking is free, but we had to pay; the shower grout was moldy, the towel rack was very loose, and the fridge was so loud it bothered us when trying to sleep. The Wi-Fi wasn't great either, and it kept logging us out every few hours. That's why I can only give two stars.
