The breakfast spread changed every day, which was a whole other story. I loved the room theme, the blankets were soft, and the shower was amazing. 10/10, I'd definitely come back.

I didn't take breakfast because the selection didn't look appealing and there weren't many choices. They wouldn't refund it, so I ended up paying 9 euro for a coffee. I offered to pay for the coffee and get the breakfast money back, but they said they'd prepared enough food for the number of guests confirmed. They were running out of options, so I doubt that was true. The rooms were average and not especially comfortable. Fans would help, especially with the thick blankets they put in the rooms.

The location is good, but for the room price the bed feels really cheap and uncomfortable. It makes noise every time you turn over, and the bathroom is tiny. The way the staff spoke to us was disrespectful. The housekeeper yelled at my husband because our dog accidentally peed in the backyard. We apologized and cleaned it up, but then a woman at reception confronted us in the same manner. I was really disappointed. This isn't an animal-friendly hotel, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Rooms are on the small side but comfortable, and some are family studios for four. There's private parking for 6€ a night. It's an economy hotel right in central Rostock, with shops all around within walking distance. The walls have lots of interesting photos from the owners' exotic travels.
