Villa La Mer

The breakfast was quite good, though I would've liked salmon or mozzarella with tomatoes. The room itself was okay, and the bathroom had a good amount of space. We didn't use the kitchen. It was very warm indoors even though it was only about 22 degrees Celsius outside, so I was glad there was a ceiling fan. I don't want to imagine how hot it gets in midsummer. The mattresses felt too soft to me and the pillow was too bulky. I could've said something, but didn't, so that's on me.

The breakfast was lovely and made for a very pleasant start to the day. Staff were there when we needed them but otherwise left us to ourselves, just how I like it. They were diligent and attentive, and handled our allergy requests without any trouble. My wife and I chose Villa la Mer in Warnemünde and felt very comfortable there. It was a very good decision, and we'd certainly repeat it if we get the chance. The house was quiet, spacious, and very clean. We had a wonderful stay. Thanks for having us!

The problems started with the apartment itself: the sleeping-area floor was badly damaged, with cracked, warped laminate, and the bathroom silicone was moldy. The kitchen was dirty too, and some dishes and glasses hadn't been cleaned properly. We paid almost €750 for four nights, yet the rooms weren't cleaned every two days as promised, and we had to ask for toilet paper. There was also a €40 apartment cleaning fee if you don't book breakfast, though they waived it for us. Service was poor, and when we raised these issues, management was rude. Our stay at apartment V4 at Villa La Mer was a complete disaster. I strongly advise people to avoid this place.

Breakfast was the highlight, with tasty fresh bread, plenty of good cold cuts and cheese, plus scrambled eggs (made from powder), bacon, and sausages. The room itself was okay, though the shower was very small.
