The location is great, though every hotel in town seems to have a 10/10 location, so that alone doesn’t make up for the service. I had the worst overnight stay of my trip and would strongly recommend avoiding this hotel. There was no reception desk or anyone around to help. They say you can ask reception for a hair dryer, but I couldn’t find anyone to ask. The staff were also impossible to reach by phone, whichever number I tried. Booking messages were the only way to contact them, and replies took a long time, if they came at all. I asked about getting a hair dryer one evening and heard back the following afternoon. The internet didn’t work either. When I reported it, I was told, “you already have all the information you need.” If you do book here, good luck.

Right in the heart of the historic old town, this is a comfortable hotel with friendly, helpful staff. There’s no lift, which made our third-floor room a challenge. Given the building is 800 years old, that seems like a trade-off for the very central location, and probably isn’t possible to change.

The restaurant was good too: I had a filling, delicious salad, and my boyfriend ordered pizza. We stayed in a super cute room, and the staff were really friendly to us. We’d definitely come back if we visit the city again. :)
