Free private parking was a welcome extra, and breakfast was basic but okay. Rachel, the waitress, was very friendly and polite and did a great job. Still, I wouldn’t stay here again. The hotel is old and the rooms need renovation. Though the setting is quiet, it’s far from the main attractions. Our bathroom smelled unpleasant because the ventilation wasn’t working, there was mold in the shower, the room floor wasn’t clean, and without air-conditioning it got hot.

We came hoping to find somewhere to eat, and the host offered us wine. Dinner starts at 17.30, so we waited a little in the garden. The schnitzel was fresh, delicious and nicely cooked. Good food and a friendly host, highly recommended.

The owners are incredibly friendly, and their dog is adorable. I was on a motorcycle trip, and the room and parking were just what I needed. The restaurant was closed the day I arrived, but they still gave me a tasty dinner and something to drink. I’d definitely stop here again if I’m in the area.

The owners have become good friends over the past couple of years, so we try to stop by once or twice a year. The staff are lovely and try to take care of every wish or need. The restaurant serves good-quality food, and my steak was cooked just right. Breakfast is generous and good, and the rooms are nice and cosy.

Friendly, helpful staff and good food in the dining room. We had a spacious double room; the bathroom was small but perfectly adequate. It’s a great two-star hotel, though I expected more choices on the wine list and found it disappointingly short.
