We’ve just had three lovely days at this little guesthouse in Assmanshausen. The rooms were very comfortable, the host and family were so friendly, and breakfast was amazing. On day one our daughter asked for extra juice, and after that she got her own little bottle each day. Thanks so much for a lovely stay.
The staff are super friendly, and the room was nice. Depending on where your room is, you may hear trains at night. You could ask for a room on the river-facing side of the hotel.

The rooms are spacious and clean, and breakfast is generous. The owners are so kind, and the family-run place has a peaceful feel. The windows keep the train noise to a minimum. They also give you useful information, so you can head out and explore the area right away.
You can reach everything in the village on foot, and the guesthouse itself is small and full of charm, with friendly owners and a great breakfast. The rooms are clean, though a little dated. The big drawback is the railway: the tracks are right beside the balcony, and freight trains run through all night. With the window open, sleeping is impossible. Still, I’d recommend the place if the train noise won’t bother you.
