The team made the stay feel personal, with fantastic service and genuinely friendly staff. The restaurant food was delicious, and its service was just as good. My room was spacious and comfortable, with everything I needed. The location is great for a walk into the town centre and right by the river.

From my room, I had a lovely sunset view, and the hotel's upscale restaurant looks out over the lake. There's also free, fast Wi-Fi for guests. The room was spotless and tidy, and the receptionist gave me a warm welcome. One of the co-owners even looked after me personally and kindly offered to help serve breakfast. Höll am Main is about a ten-minute walk from the train station. I'd happily recommend it for solo travelers, couples on vacation, or a short business visit. I chose this hotel after seeing online recommendations for my work visit to Opel's Stellantis headquarters in Rüsselsheim. It's family-run, and the place is well maintained. I stayed in the art haus, where everything was clean, functional, and logically arranged, with rooms built thoughtfully. The owners are often around and, if you need help, a friendly, capable German owner will sort out your problem, 100% sure (cf receptionists in France). Breakfast was nice. The owners are there during it, which is more attention than I personally prefer, though the service is above average. There's no fitness room, but they work with a fitness center a few hundred meters away. The spa and sauna are a real highlight, with Turkish and Finnish areas, both wet and dry, plus a relaxation room with books and games. After a workday, it's a must for me. A small fridge with a few drinks would make it even better. The spa costs extra, but it's worth it. The owners switch it on when you ask, which is flexible and saves energy. I wish more hotels and fitness centers did that. The riverside location is nice for a morning jog or evening walk. There's a brewery across from the hotel that I can recommend. I didn't try the hotel restaurant, though the owners' attention to food and quality makes me think it must be good. Other restaurants are a five-minute walk away, and some small ones need a booking in advance. Opel Headquarters and Opel Forum are an easy 15-minute walk or five-minute drive away. The hotel has private parking and an electric-car charging spot. Landing planes at Frankfurt Airport can make mornings noisy. That's an issue for all hotels in this area, not something Höll hotel can change or is worse at. Closed windows offer standard noise protection. The smart-home-style light switches and heated floors are nice. Wi-Fi works well for free, though you can pay extra for a speed upgrade. I've stayed at a couple of hotels in my life and can definitely recommend this one. I'll book it again when I'm in Rüsselsheim.

The rooms were modern and clean, and breakfast was very well put together. We arrived really late, in the middle of the night, thinking reception was open 24/7. It wasn't, but thankfully someone was there to help us. I'd recommend staying here.
