The staff went out of their way to make our stay a good one, which was the best part. We were right across from the Christmas Market and the Cathedral while visiting St Blasien. Dinner at the restaurant and breakfast at the hotel were both very good.

The stream view from the window is lovely, and the table settings are neat. We get solid dinners here thanks to the chef's skill, and the waitress is great every time. The food is good and fairly priced, though the desserts could be more original. After the staff leave, the chef comes to see us out. He's a dorkish character whose air leaves a stiff aftertaste, and he'd be better off staying in the background.

We were traveling from Australia and made our own arrangements. Our three nights at the Dom Hotel became a highlight of the tour: comfortable, quality accommodation, excellent food, a beautiful location right in front of the magnificent Dom, and such a welcoming atmosphere. This small family run hotel was a joy to stay in. Thank you and Danke schoen!

Our original hotel had overbooked, so we were rebooked here, and it turned out to be beautiful. The window looked out onto an amazing view of the church. We also had dinner here and really enjoyed the wild game and other spectacular dishes.
