We brought our dog along, and the owners were so friendly and clearly fond of animals. There are hiking paths just behind the house, and the station for the Brocken Railway is right there too. We first stayed at the end of September and felt at home in the comfortably furnished place. Schierke is well worth visiting. We’ll definitely be back. It was lovely staying with you.

We found Villa Regina a little below a road that seemed quite busy to us. There are several hiking routes starting just behind the house, and NP is about a kilometer away. Communication with the owner and her representative was smooth. The apartment is small, though easily big enough for two, and had everything we needed. The bathroom had a few minor cosmetic issues, but they didn't affect our comfort. We stayed for a weekend in September 2018 and would happily come again.

We keep coming back and always enjoy our visits. The owners are so welcoming, friendly, and incredibly nice. There’s lots to do, and it’s very child-friendly. It’s sad to see the lovely forest slowly dying because of the bark beetle.

The apartment was beautifully furnished and in a great spot. It was our first visit to Schierke, and we had a really good time. The house is very cozy and welcomes dogs, and the owners are incredibly kind and accommodating. We'd love to take another vacation there.
