The food was great. No WiFi, though. Nice try.

The food was excellent, from the sauerbraten and Schäufele with dumplings to the tasty side salad. We stopped in for a meal on August 31, 2025, after hiking near Eschenbach. The service was very friendly, and the price felt right for what we got. We’d gladly visit the beer garden again.

The restaurant has a rustic feel, and the service is extremely friendly and fast. They serve excellent game dishes. Definitely recommend it!

We keep coming back because the quality has stayed high for years. My family has been regulars here for a long time, and the dishes are delicious and carefully prepared. The service is excellent and they accommodate every request. I especially like the game dishes, which are always on the menu. The portions are generous, and the value for money is incredible.
