We've been to Berchtesgaden many times for hiking and have always had a great time. A big part of that is the hospitality at Pension Gregory. Its hosts Christian and Dagmar made the stay great.

The pension felt charming and homey, and our room had a balcony with beautiful mountain views. The owner, Christian I believe, was super friendly and made a great breakfast. He was also very chatty and asked what we'd been up to. We had a really great stay and would definitely go again.

The host was really friendly, and breakfast was good. Our room was simple and had a rustic feel. Sound carried through the walls, though, so we could hear the neighbors talking. Thankfully, they turned in early.

The views were stunning, and the owner welcomed us so warmly. The place is a bit dated and worn, but we felt very well looked after. There’s a fridge with an honesty system: help yourself to a beer and let them know what you took.

We found restaurants about a five-minute walk away, and the scenery was beautiful. The staff were welcoming, the accommodation was clean and pleasant, and breakfast had a nice buffet. Prices were very reasonable, and it’s biker friendly.
