The Gasthaus is well equipped, with toys for kids outside and in the dining area ;) The owner was very friendly and shared places to visit in Bayerischer Wald. He also gave us an AktivCard, which saved us a lot while exploring the area. We loved it here.

Thank you for giving us shelter at the last minute. The welcome was great, and everyone was very friendly.

The people were super friendly, the food was good and the surroundings were beautiful, though the townspeople's heavy use of solar panels rather spoiled the scenery for me. I suppose buying into the climate change scare helps you put up with the toilet, which makes you wait ages after using the whole tank to flush. I needed extra flushes after the good food, and it kept me waiting and waiting. If you visit in summer, bring your own bedsheets. The synthetic ones they provide don't absorb moisture, leaving you hot and sticky.

The owner was very friendly, and the schnitzel was the best I've had in Germany. Get it with fried potatoes and salad.

Nice place and very good hosting. Breakfast is a must, it's worth it.
