B&B HOTEL Schwerin-Süd

The staff were friendly, and the room was clean and recently renovated. I did spot a silverfish, which was a bit disgusting. There’s a direct bus from the hotel to the center, but its frequency depends on the time. It comes every 30 minutes or every hour.

The receptionist was friendly, and the bed was okay. Those are the only positives I can mention. The hotel is being renovated, and after reading the reviews, I agree with most of them. There was a strange smell in the rooms, and no soap by the sink. I changed rooms because the bathroom door knob was faulty, but the next room wasn’t any better. A curtain ring was broken, and both the toilet and bathroom smelled odd. In my view, the bathroom wasn’t usable.

My room was clean, and I didn’t have any noise issues. The staff were very nice, and the value for money was really good. Most of the negative reviews seem to be from a few months earlier, while the hotel was undergoing renovations. I’d recommend it.

There’s free parking right in front, and the rooms are really clean and newly furnished. The beds were comfortable, with lovely fluffy duvets and good pillows. The price was okay for what you get. I did miss having an elevator.
