Hotel Alte Post

We stayed one night in the huge attic apartment room, which was just right for our family of five. It was beautiful and extremely clean, and the food was fresh, homemade, and delicious. Thanks for the clean apartment and lovely meals. Most of the staff were very friendly too, though I guess someone was too tired to be friendly.

The Wi-Fi worked well in my room, and the hotel has a lovely restaurant downstairs. Just park by the restaurant when you arrive so you don’t get mixed up. The Bavarian food, including sausages, schnitzel, and beer, was typical, and the decor was beautiful. It’s a cute, picturesque hotel in a renovated 14th-century building, and one of the most decent three-star places I’ve stayed. My room had a TV, hair dryer, different soaps, a closet, and furniture for luggage, plus plenty of towels and hot tap water the whole time. It was cold in the room on November 1 because the central heating went off overnight during the off-season. Once we told the owner, they brought an electric heater straight away, so we stayed warm and slept well. I recommend it.

The location is truly worthy of five stars, and I recommend staying here. The accommodation was very good, the host was lovely, the staff well trained, and the food delicious. The one drawback is that there’s no spa.

The staff were amazing, and the hospitality gave the place a lovely feel. But the sewage smell was unbearably strong, and the detergent used to cover it was even worse. Please fix the sewage odor in the rooms and in the restaurant toilets too.
